This is a fairly large GPU with a crystal area of 608 mm², which contains 76.3 billion transistors. The chips are manufactured by the Taiwanese company TSMC according to technological standards of 4 nm (TSMC 4N). GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards are based on AD102 graphics processors with Ada Lovelace architecture. In addition to the fact that this model deserves special attention, we start our first acquaintance with the adapters of the line with MSI GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM LIQUID X 24G – an original video card with a liquid cooling system. So it is not surprising that the developers began to reveal the RTX 40xx graphics line with the flagship of the series – GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB. With each next generation of graphics cards, the NVIDIA company tries to impress so much that potential buyers think about another upgrade, even in cases where they own top models of the previous generation and did not plan to change anything in their configurations at all. This laptop has worked well for 3 years, but I think it's about time it retired. This should last me until I can get a new PC built. My CPU may not have a fan right now, but a cooling pad and Power Saver/Balanced power modes are keeping it at a reasonable 40~50 degrees celsius. In the end, I couldn't take the grating noise of the fan anymore, opened the laptop up and unplugged it from the motherboard. I've tried SpeedFan, but it seems my BIOS isn't supported. The version of Dragon Gaming Centre on my model only has a fan speed monitor and no means to control it. I plan to replace the fan (or the whole system) soon, but until then I'd like to disable the fan and just use a cooling pad for my system, but I don't know if disabling the fan is even possible. The motor in my CPU fan has been giving way and is making a horrendously loud grinding and clicking noise.

Is there a way to maually adjust or disable the fans on my MSI laptop?
